We did not get a blizzard but we have cold, snow, rain and heavy winds. It is still windy, which is not unusual for us at any time of year. I have many squirrels competing with each other and the birds to constantly empty my feeders. We have four squirrels with nests in the trees around our fences. Now there are several other squirrels seem to be coming from across the street in the front and over the fences from yards of the houses on the street behind us. They bicker and chase each other but they all seem to get their share of the food because they are all fat with glossy thick fur. Their tails seem to be their defining feature, some long and skinny and some fat and full and one with a wisp of fur that sticks out like an feather at the tip. They are comical and fun to watch. The familiar ones sit on the porch and nibble right a foot away from of the cats looking at them through the glass door. The ones from afar are more skittish about the cats and one of them runs back over the fence when he even sees me glance at him out the kitchen window. Who does he think is feeding him all that food? Silly squirrels ... :) Pat Scrapatcheshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11922866916373027618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2992849643268817750.post-51109391457118324022022-01-19T06:46:07.742-08:002022-01-19T06:46:07.742-08:00Oh yes, that squirrel is so precious!
